I love a freestanding mural! Why? Because we can paint it right in our backyard, save our client the expense of flying me us there, and work with global companies on a much larger scale than if we had to travel to wherever they are in the world in person. Even though this mural was for an international soccer team, however, we didn’t have to travel very far at all to let it shine.
Manchester United’s partnership with Snapdragon is a multi-year global sponsorship and strategic collaboration between the Premier League club and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon brand, where Snapdragon serves as Manchester United’s principal front-of-shirt partner for the men’s, women’s and academy teams. Under this deal, Snapdragon’s logo appears on the iconic United jerseys, giving the tech brand massive global visibility and helping it connect with the club’s huge worldwide fanbase.
Primary colors and recognizable imagery from both brands brought this freestanding mural to life.
As the Pandr team has worked with Manchester United before, things couldn’t have lined up better when we found out Man U was coming to play at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego. After using colors and imagery from both brands to create an initial design, it was approved by all parties and we got to work painting it at our home studio. From there, we delivered it to the Qualcomm HQ on the other side of town, who brought to the July 31st game. We love how it turned out - IYK(soccer)YK! - and we are looking forward to partnering with this iconic brand again soon.
