American Cancer Society
April 2024 • Los Angeles, California
This 14 × 7 ft freestanding mural was created for the American Cancer Society’s Moonshot Summit at UCLA, and it was an honor to bring it to life. The mural was fully designed and painted in my San Diego studio ahead of time, then delivered to UCLA for the event, where I live-painted the finishing touches during the summit itself.
The design was tailored to match the event’s color palette and overall aesthetic, creating a seamless visual tie-in to the experience. Bold, uplifting, and full of movement, the mural served as both a photo backdrop and a powerful visual centerpiece throughout the event.
Freestanding murals like this are some of my favorite projects… flexible, impactful, and able to go wherever the message needs to be seen. This one was especially meaningful to be part of, and I’m proud to have contributed artwork to such an important cause.
