Feeding San Diego
Another mural donated and another food pantry beautified!
This mural for Feeding San Diego took a cool 18 hours to install, and was a ton of fun to work on. We collaborated with the FSD marketing team on scheming up this design, making sure to heavily incorporate their brand colors -blue and orange. We painted in the evenings once the pantry was closed so as not to disturb the important flow of the work being done during the day there, and it was actually very meditative and nice to paint during the quiet hours. The final design was a little bit outside the box of our typical mural style, so it was really fun to flex our realism skills with the fruits and veggies on the border of this design.
As an artist, we think donating your time and art is one of the most rewarding ways to give back to a community. It felt great to help breathe some new life into one of our hometown food pantry.
