Love City Vet: Northern Liberties

This mural was a full-circle moment. We recently wrapped up this interior mural for Love City Vet’s brand new Northern Liberties location, and it felt extra special getting to return as a repeat collaborator. We like to call this mural the “sister” to the original Love City Vet mural we painted back in Fall 2022 at their first South Philly location.

In creating this design, we knew we wanted both of the Love City Vet locations to maintain a cohesive feel, while still being distinctly unique to the areas they are in. The easiest way to do this was to use the same warm color palette of the mural in the South Philly location, but paint with bolder, darker hues, and go for bigger, more detailed iconography to reflect the specific energy of the Northern Liberties neighborhood.

Though this mural lives on a small wall in the waiting room, it packs a big punch when you enter the office and immediately reflects the veterinarian’s love for its city, its people, and most importantly - the animals of Philadelphia.
